LFS - Start your engines

We are delighted to say that LFS is reopening for flight training again THIS Friday 22 October subject to everyone following a few important conditions.

This is from the latest Victorian Government Roadmap which states Adult Education can recommence for onsite skills-based learning provided all staff and students have received BOTH DOSES of a Covid vaccine and follow Covid Safe procedures - see our note below.

Our instructor team are currently polishing their skills ahead of Friday and are looking forward to flying with you again - see below for our tips and tricks for you on restarting flight training after a hefty break.

Give us a call 9739 1211 to book a time with your favourite instructor!

Conditions to help keep us all safe

1. Make sure you have proof of your double vaccination on your Service Victoria App on your phone (usually linked to MyGov App and/or Medicare App) before you come out.  (A print out of your Vaccination Certificate would also be acceptable.)  One of our friendly team will need to sight this evidence before you can go flying.

2. We will be following our LFS Covid Safe procedures including mask wearing at all times and strictly no more than 8 people in the LFS office.  Please wait outside on the verandah if there's already a crowd and we will get to you as soon as we can.

3. If anyone feels unwell at anytime DO NOT COME OUT TO LFS but instead seek a Covid test at your nearest test centre.

4. PPL and RPL Cross Country students will be able to continue their Navigation Exercises BUT must avoid contact with ANYONE in regional areas if they choose to land there.

5. LFS will not be doing any joy flights or non-essential charter flights until restrictions ease which we expect will be mid-November
